MARKETING CONSENT
Upon signing this application, I hereby give consent for VIP Finance Group and its associated companies, to contact me by mail, telephone, email and SMS to advise me of general or specific information with regards to my account, marketing material and special events or promotions, and for any client relation building purposes.PRIVACY ACT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
In accordance with the national privacy principals and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), VIP Finance Group hereby states that the information supplied herein may be stored by us, and/or disclosed to credit reporting agencies for the following purposes:
- To produce credit related statistics and analysis from aggregated data which is not personally identifiable.
- To obtain information about you, the borrower, to assess your credit worthiness.
- To report credit information about you as may be required from time to time.
The information supplied to the credit reporting agency would include:
- Your personal details (eg. name, address(es), date of birth, etc.)
- The fact that you have applied for a loan with VIP Finance Group and its amount.
- The details of any default in your contact with VIP Finance Group, this may include but is not limited to:
- Late payments, non payment.
- Dishonoured cheques, insufficient funds in a direct debit account.
- Appointment of a repossession / debt collection agency.
- Details of, in the view of VIP Finance Group, a serious fraudulent infringement of your credit obligations.
- Details listing finalisation and discharge of your credit contract with VIP Finance Group.
APPLICANT’S DECLARATION
I swear/affirm that the details that I have provided on this form have been filled in to the best of my knowledge and are complete and accurate as at the date of signing. I acknowledge that:
- The application and my credit worthiness will be assessed based on the information I have provided in this form.
- Any information provided by me that is false or deliberately misleading is an act of fraud and will be treated as such.
- I have read and understood the “Privacy Act Acknowledgement” and its implications and as such authorise VIP Finance Group to store and/or disseminate my personal information to persons and/or organisations deemed necessary so that VIP Finance Group may assess my credit application and manage my loan.
- VIP Finance Group has a full privacy policy that is available upon request.
